One: Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and has a great New Year.

Three: I think I'm going to get rid of this journal and only post on ennedepaix_fics
It's getting to be a bit silly having two accounts considering I don't make a huge amount of personal posts anyway.

Boo! It's me. Yeah, yeah, it's been literal years but hello!
It's weird being back on LJ. So many people are gone or have changed their names so I don't really know who's who. My own fault though.

Been reading my old LJ entries. Quite funny. Hmmm, what has changed? Very little, really. Finished college, abandoned the idea of uni. Just work now. Thrilling, my life.

Anyhoo, despite my horrific absence from this dear platform, I have never stopped writing my fanfic (there's a new H/D one-shot up on my other LJ ennedepaix_fics if anyone's interested).

Hello there. I can't believe it's been eleven months since I last updated. I'm so sorry! My excuses are... Not great. I did take a break from writing for a couple of months because my grandfather was taken into a hospice and, while there, passed away from cancer. Then, after that, my second nephew was born so family stuff took up a lot of time. However, that was in the summer. My true reasons for not finishing this chapter are more to do with the fact that I can't concentrate on one fic at a time and flit between several stories and also write episodes of this story which aren't due for a long time yet.
Anyway, for those of you who still remember that this story exists, here is Chapter Four.

Life Story - Chapter Four
Summary: Tea, cigarettes, wine, dancing, sex, cross-dressing, pervert friends, babies, weddings, funerals, paranoia, abusive ex-partners, drugs, appendicitis, letchy old men... All in a day, isn't it?
Rating: As of now, I don't know, R for language and wanking, maybe. Or does wanking need an NC-17?
Word Count for this section: approx 7,690.

Notes: HBP has no bearing on this fic! Ginny and Harry didn’t go out. Draco didn’t turn completely evil. Dumbledore… Well, I haven’t decided what’s happened to him but Snape wasn’t all the stuff he was in HBP. All right? I hope this is okay with everyone.

The song Harry is singing at the beginning of the chapter is called ‘Please Please Please (Young Hollywood)’ and it’s off the album ‘Decadence’ by the band Head Automatica. They’re very good. The singer is the singer from Glassjaw, Mr Palumbo I believe he is called, but the music’s completely different in each band. I recommend both bands highly. Head Automatica truly is brilliant sing-along music.

Good lord, how is it that I suck so much at updating LJ? It's not like I have much else to do with my life. Just crappy old work. Ugh. I hate it.

How's everyone? Happy? Nearly Easter,which has no religious significance in my household but it does mean I get to eat lots of chocolate. Not that I really need a reason to do that the rest of the year.

Quick question for any Brits who have access to BBC3 on their televisions: Who loves Anthea Turner Perfect Housewife? It's brilliant. I'm addicted to it and now am permanently looking for boxes and feather dusters and baskets whenever I go to the supermarket. I wish it had been on before I had to see careers guidance people at school:

"What do you want to be when you grow up, Rachel? Teacher? Writer? Business owner?"

"NO! I want to be a housewife with a gaggle of children and a spotless bathroom and always have a cake in the oven. Homemade of course."

Love it.

For those who have e-mailed/commented about the lack of Life Story updates... Well... I've written tens of thousands of words but they're just not in the right part of the story. I dont write in sequence and if I needed to post a chapter about four months into the story then I'd be away but, alas, the boys aren't that involved just yet.

I apologise. I am working on it but linking the scenes together is... My brain's being mean to me, let's leave it at that.

I have started many a new story, though. Oh yes. All Harry/Draco apart from one Draco/Remus. But does that one finish as Draco/Remus? Ah, it remains to be seen...

Anyone, again Brits, got any good website recommendations for shopping? I love internet shopping. Particularly beauty products, home stuff and bags. Ah, bags... Why is it they're so wonderful? I dont know.

Anyhoo, i hope everyone's well. I will work on Life Story some more this afternoon, promise. I just want to eat the shepherd's pie that was left over from last night's dinner first. Yummy.

I didn't realise it had been two months since I last posted. Crazy. There's been a lot happening recently and, while I've still been writing fic, I haven't had much time to post and be LJ-active. So, since I last posted, I have:

Had a birthday.
Celebrated my mum's birthday, my brother's birthday and my brother-in-law's birthday.
Bought a laptop - very scary signing a receipt for my account to be debited £525.
Watched my sister get married.
Done far too many shifts at work; now hate my job so much.
Got my A-Level results and re-enrolled at college for my third year. I'm starting on 15th September.

Once I get my timetable and go back to regular work-shifts, I should be able to be on LJ a bit more.

Everybody tell me what they've been up to! Anyone around at the moment?

I'm sure everyone's aware of the bombings in London on 7th July and I hope that anyone who lives there is safe. I don't want to write too much because my best friend is staying in the road behind Tavistock Square/Woburn Place, where the bus exploded, and on any other day would have been walking through that road at the exact time the explosion happened. She's on her way home, but it's a bit too close for comfort. My brother-in-law also has many friends there, as do my parents, but luckily they're all safe.

I'm not saying who did or didn't carry out these awful attacks because I honestly don't know what to think. however, I do think some people, including Tony Blair, jumped to conclusions far too quickly without any evidence. Even if he ends up being right, he should not set the example that we instantly blame certain groups/people.

I wish everyone well, especially those living in London, or with family/friends there.

Christ, what is with the weather? And the accompanying hayfever it is causing?

How is everyone?! I've been doing exams at college, A levels, and haven't been posting much recently. Sorry.

And Glasses!Draco, well there's a kink of mine. David Tennant! He wore a kilt, I think at the BAFTAS. How were your exams overall? I still have one left. I had ridiculous luck with one of my Sociology ones and the rest were ok-ish. *loves*
